Bucharest hosts the ninth edition of HORUS International Mental Mathematics Championship
The Romanian capital Bucharest hosted HORUS 9 International Mental Mathematics Championship with the participation of teams from 14 countries from different continents, who were competing for the title of World Champion in Mental Mathematics HORUS 2024.
His Excellency Ambassador Moayad El Delei, The Egyptian Ambassador to Bucharest, launched the competition's start signal, and also the competition was attended by a number of senior officials in Romania, in addition to an elite group of mathematicians, top specialists, experts and heads of mathematics programs from different nationalities.
The Championship was held at JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel, with participation of more than 800 students around the world representing teams from 14 countries. The Championship also witnessed the distinguished participation mathematics champions with visual disabilities from around the world and their presence was remarkable and they received great praise from all attendees of the championship.
